 g as guest soloist with big bands. He has received numerous awards for his 
 playing\, particularly in the modern classical arena\, and has fronted pres
 tigious big bands and orchestras.\nHe currently serves as Director of Jazz 
 Studies and Professor of Music at Troy University in Alabama. He’s also a
